A message to everyone working for Mafube's future
Residents, businesses, farmers and partners across Frankfort, Villiers, Cornelia and Tweeling understand the importance of a local economy that supports livelihoods and creates room for enterprise.
The proposed Mafube Investment & Jobs Summit on 9 October 2026 offers a place to examine the work ahead. Existing businesses need a fair opportunity to retain jobs and grow. New ideas need careful preparation, clear information and partners who can help move them forward.
The value of meeting together will depend on what follows. We should leave with a better understanding of practical constraints, opportunities that can be developed responsibly and actions that have clear owners.
I hope this summit encourages honest discussion, useful cooperation and continued attention to the people and places of Mafube.
